Caritas KK and Partners Bring Hope to Flood-Affected Communities in Paitan
PAITAN, SABAH — In response to the devastating floods that struck the district earlier this year, Caritas Kota Kinabalu, together with various partners, carried out a major flood relief mission to St Francis, Kg. Kolboton on 14 March 2026, marking the second phase of its outreach to affected communities. The floods, which began in February 2026, have been described as among the worst in Paitan’s history.
