Report on Caritas Aid to Flood-Affected Families in Kg Mansiang, Manggatal on 09 January, 2026
In response to the recent floods that severely impacted families in Kg Mansiang, Manggatal, Caritas Kota Kinabalu (Caritas KK) mobilized immediate assistance to support those most affected. This initiative reflects Caritas’ ongoing commitment to uphold human dignity and provide compassionate aid in times of crisis. Caritas KK provided essential household materials to help families recover and resume daily living. The items distributed included mattresses, pillows, gas stoves and gas cylinders. These materials were prioritized for families whose homes and belongings were most affected by the floodwaters.
